DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES
The 9th May 2013 Laboratorio del Cittadino Onlus in collaboration with Italia Nostra Onlus Castiglione del Lago organized a dissemination event, in occasion of the "Day of Europe".
The event took place inside the frescoed rooms of Della Corgna Palace, a very suggestive place in the historical centre of Castiglione del Lago. During the meeting we showed our different projects, and later several schools, NGO's, municipalities showed us their project and final products.
After the "sharing-experience" conference we introduced the new LLP program 2013-2020 "Erasmus for all".
We also invited several foreigners whos leave in Castiglione del Lago, asking him to introduce themselves and after we discuss a lot about integration, policies, common heritage and culture.
It was a very nice experience ended with a glass of good wine in the terrace and live piano music.

September REPORT
Waiting for the next meeting in Galizia - La
Guarda, focused on architecture issues. Last month Laboratorio del
Cittadino with a delegation of 8 people met the Austrian partner in Vienna.
Andrea guested us during one evening and we share ideas and opinion about
trainig courses.

About the next meeting, we are working on the
evolution of the architecture sistem in Castiglione del Lago, form rural town
to little city.

FOLLOWING THE
ROMANS’ STEPS
Waiting for the next meeting in Austria based on
the historical issues, during this month we have organized natural-historical
excursion. In this activity are involved the high schools of our town. It was
organized in collaboration with another association “AST Tuoro Musei”. Tuoro is
the town of the Hannibal Battle, during the II Punic war, occurred along the shores of Trasimeno Lake.What we do is called “Cultural Interpretation” and as you can see on the photos we have integrated, during naturalistic path, an historical “moment”. This “moment” is focalized on Ancient Roman life style and on strategy of war. The learners, retracing the same route made by the Roman soldiers with a lesson focused on the nature and what the nature means during the ancient years, “are catapulted back in time”.
After this “activities” learners take part on a history lessons, located in the same place where Hannibal controlled the battle.

The history of “DELLA CORGNA” GARDENS in Castiglione del Lago
March was mainly a month of planning… we are preparing a particular research and 3D reconstruction about the Renaissance gardens of Della Corgna Palace, ancient palace of the noble family “della Corgna”. A study on the habits and technics of take care of garden during the Renaissance.
After an accurate research in old book, old painting and frescos we are able to reconstruct the form and the variety of the different gardens, located, in renaissance age, in the historic centre of Castilgione del Lago. In collaboration with students and staff of expert in 3D reconstruction, we are trying to "resurrect an old garden", rich of history, plot and duels…you will enjoy it in Austria!!!
